Scottish Stalking Trip

SPORTING ON THE GLEN DESSARY ESTATE

Glen Dessary Estate offers some of the most exciting deer stalking in Scotland with steep high ground and panoramic views of the West. It is not uncommon to get a stag at over 2,500 feet and to climb through the mist that suddenly lifts to reveal views of the islands of Rhum, Skye and the Outer Hebrides.

Deer Stalking

The deer herd is carefully managed with highly selective culling, herd counting and a program of winter feeding to provide a steady number of mature stags during the season. Guests are accompanied by an experienced, qualified stalker who will endeavour to ensure an enjoyable adventure and successful outcome. The Estate’s 15,000 acres can accommodate two separate stalking parties working in different areas.

Stalking parties of up to 15 guests can either book the Lodge with full catering or alternatively, we can accommodate smaller self-catered parties of up to 6 guests in the Bothy.
The Estate’s stag season is from mid-August to the 20th of October.
We also offer hind stalking with up to two parties a day. The Estate’s hind season runs from the 21st October to the 20th of December.
